Buffer tanks are devices used to store thermal energy in heating and cooling installations. Their task is to collect surplus heat and stabilize the system's operation, which allows for more effective use of a heat source such as a heat pump, boiler or solar installation. The use of buffer tanks increases the efficiency of the installation, reduces frequent switching on of devices and increases the comfort of use.
